A man has died after a burial vault collapsed on top of him Monday afternoon, Dallas Fire-Rescue said.
According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, at about 6:20 a.m., crews were called to a structure fire at a home in the 10300 block of Eastwood Drive.
Crews evacuated the building and called a second alarm as flames tore through the roof of the three-story complex on Gaston Avenue.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Dallas Fire-Rescue said.
The NTSB said its investigators are now reviewing DART's maintenance and safety procedures.
