Granbury Man Accused Of Taking Pictures Up Women's Dresses
GRANBURY (CBSDFW.COM) - Police have arrested a 25-year-old Granbury man, who they say took video up a woman's skirt without her permission.
Juan Albarran Diaz was spotted recording the video during July 4th festivities in downtown Granbury. He's been charged with two felony counts of improper photography/visual recording.
Patricia Winters told her husband Daniel that she noticed Diaz crouched next to her and thought he was trying to take pictures up her dress.
"He had his camera, his phone, in his hand and he had it kind of pointed up," said Patricia, who noticed him crouched next to her.
Daniel Winters says he watched Diaz approach other women, confronted him and then watched him delete the images from his phone.
"He was very nervous. His hands were shaking the whole time he had his phone out. And he said, 'Don't do this, please, I'm with my family'," he said.
When CBS 11 first reported the story, police had not identified a suspect. Since then, they have taken Diaz into custody and released still pictures taken from video on his phone in hopes of finding other victims.
The pictures do not show any faces and police admit they don't know where most of them were taken. They hope someone will recognize the women's clothes or locations as they continue the investigation.
The first video was taken in Granbury square the weekend of July 4.
The second video was taken at an unknown Walmart. Police say based on the music playing and the type of clothing seen in the video, it may have been taken during the Christmas season.
The third video is also from an unknown Walmart store.
The fourth video is from an unknown El Rancho grocery store, not in Granbury.
The fifth video was recorded at an unknown clothing store, also not believed to be in Granbury.
