Delta Air Lines marks 25 years of annual "Dream Flight" for Black students
Delta Air Lines celebrated the 25th anniversary of its "dream flight" by taking more than 100 Black students to NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

While working in educational public relations, Nakell coordinated several high-profile community service projects by partnering with entities including the Quinton Aaron (star of "The Blind Side") Foundation to increase anti-bullying and childhood obesity awareness. In 2010, she spearheaded a major outreach initiative led by the Wendy Williams Show to provide educational resources for underprivileged youth in Asbury Park, New Jersey. She also served as spokeswoman for one of New Jersey's highest performing educational institutions.
From 2008-2010, Nakell had the privilege of serving the administrations of Gov. Eliot Spitzer and Gov. David Paterson of New York and Gov. Sonny Perdue of Georgia on public issues including community and economic development and environmental conservation. She managed programs which targeted the elimination of social and economic barriers in efforts to improve the quality of life for those served by the states of Georgia and New York.
Nakell volunteers and devotes her time to organizations that combat domestic violence and advocate for the empowerment of women and their children.
She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., an organization founded in 1908 that has a global commitment to servant-leadership.
