Krystle Rich is the newest edition to the CBS News New York sports team.
Rich was previously a Sports Anchor/Reporter for KTLA in Los Angeles. She covered the 2024 World Series between the Dodgers and Yankees. She also covered Super Bowl 57 as a team beat reporter and Super Bowl 58 as the primetime reporter for Nexstar. Rich worked the sidelines at football games for the Big Ten Network and anchored in their Chicago studios as a pre/post-game basketball host.
Rich worked for NBC Sports Philadelphia, a regional sports network, as an anchor/analyst covering the 76ers for four years. There, she honed in on her skills in analysis, commentary, and debate. She also filled-in on the local sports desk for NBC-10 Philadelphia, WCAU. She also served as a radio personality for 97.5 The Fanatic for Beasley Media Group.
Rich started her career at the NFL Network, where she became a two-time award-winning producer. Shortly after, she hosted her own show in Los Angeles on Time Warner Cable, now Spectrum.
Rich has reported and anchored around the country and covered every professional team in Los Angeles, including: the Rams, Chargers, Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers and Angels. She also covered the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, and Washington Commanders.
Rich graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and 普通话, 汉语 Mandarin Chinese. She also studied at Jilin University in Changchun, China. She resides with her husband and fur baby, Pepper.
