Chelsea extensively covered the 2019 governor's race, including live coverage of President Donald Trump's visit to the state and election night as incumbent Governor John Bel Edwards won re-election.
A graduate of the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism, Chelsea is deeply committed to community-focused journalism. She has moderated important panels discussing the impact of women in politics, economics, and culture, as well as topics around equity and social justice.
