Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weather has been a passion for Adam for as long as he can remember! Whether it was thunderstorms or winter storms, Adam has always been geeking out. Most recently, he was the host of AccuWeather Prime for the AccuWeather Network covering storms coast to coast and interviewing notable guests like Neil DeGrasse Tyson & NASA astronaut Jessica Watkins.
In his free time, you can usually find Adam on the tennis or volleyball courts, at a concert or out exploring local restaurants and breweries. You may even see him at your local airport since he recently earned his private pilot's certificate. Wherever you see him, be sure to say hi!

After the snow moved through southwestern Minnesota, Saturday will see frigid temperatures.
"(It) was a record-breaking year, the warmest on record (for the planet). And 2023 didn't break this record by a little. It broke it by a lot," said NOAA Climate Scientist Tom Di Liberto.
Friday will be a NEXT Weather Alert day due to possible heavy snowfall, as will Saturday due to frigid temperatures the likes Minnesota hasn't seen in quite some time.
Businesses and resorts around Minnesota's lakes are happy about the upcoming cold.
Expect a quiet day Sunday, with plenty of clouds and seasonably cool temperatures, but there are more snow chances on the way.
Northern and western areas of Minnesota woke up to snow on Saturday morning.
Mother nature has been far from cooperative this winter, but that isn't slowing skiers in Ramsey County.
The year started off buried in snow, but ended with some of the warmest temperatures on record.
Minnesota will ring in the new year with fresh snow on the ground, and temps that will stay low enough to keep it in place.
The clouds will return, and some showers are expected to make their way across the state in the evening.
Next on the docket is rain for much of the state, and snow for some.
The fog will linger until about noon, though the clouds will stick around for the second half of the day. Temps will be well above average, pushing 50 degrees.
