Ten sailors are missing after the guided missile destroyer USS John S. McCain collided with an oil tanker off Singapore. The Navy ordered a full investigation Monday of the Seventh Fleet. David Martin reports.
USS Fitzgerald discipline
The commander of the USS Fitzgerald and two senior officers were relieved of their commands for the horrifying crash in June that killed seven sailors. In all, about a dozen officers and men are expected to be disciplined. David Martin reports.

Australia's Navy found the wreckage of a U.S. Marine Osprey aircraft that crashed into the sea during an attempt to land on a ship Saturday. Three Marines who were lost in the accident have been identified. David Martin reports.
U.S. fires near Iranian ship
A U.S. Navy patrol boat fired warning shots when an Iranian ship came dangerously close in the Persian Gulf. The Iranians came within 150 yards of the USS Thunderbolt, but backed off after the shots were fired.

The USS Constitution, the world's oldest commissioned warship still afloat, has returned to its home port after a major restoration project. CBS Boston's Chantee Lans reports.
Elephant swept out to sea
An elephant swept out to sea in Sri Lanka had an amazing escape. The country's Navy spotted the struggling creature more than nine miles from shore Tuesday. A team of divers and wildlife officials rushed to help the elephant, as it tried to stay afloat in a rescue that reportedly took 12 hours.
Pregnancy surprise for Navy sailor
While her husband was serving in the Navy overseas, a California mom was secretly carrying their child. Natasha Daugherty surprised her husband, Chris, with the pregnancy when he returned home. Jamie Yuccas spoke with the couple.

Jeffrey Trail was Andrew Cunanan's first victim. In 1993, he was interviewed by Schlesinger for a "48 Hours" segment on gays in the military.
