The following is a transcript of an interview with HHS Secretary Alex Azar that aired Sunday, March 1, 2020, on "Face the Nation."
The decision comes as the Trump administration's response to the virus is under scrutiny.
"We should plan as if a big storm was coming," said CBS News medical contributor Dr. David Agus.
