Southern border officials have cleared the massive migrant encampment beneath the International Bridge in Del Rio, Texas. Nearly 15,000 people, mostly Haitians migrants, were staying there. The bill, filed by state Representative Webster Barnaby, is similar to the law recently enacted in Texas, which bans abortions after about six weeks of pregnancy.
"I don't care about 6 weeks," says Dr. Rebecca Gomperts, whose service helps women get abortions in places with restrictive laws.
More than 1,000 mostly Haitian migrants have been allowed to enter the U.S. as part of the legal asylum process, contradicting the Biden administration's announcement that migrants arriving at the border will be immediately deported. Manuel Bojorquez takes a look.
