Biden holds fundraiser, Trump campaigns in Michigan

Banking on a boost from celebrity support, President Biden departed the G7 summit in Italy and arrived in Los Angeles Saturday for an A-list fundraiser which his campaign said has already raised more than $28 million toward his race against former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, who himself spoke to Black community leaders in Detroit, and is headlining a convention Saturday night organized by a conservative youth group. Biden signs deal with Ukraine, and other headlines

Here are some of the top headlines of Thursday, including a 10-year security deal signed by President Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the G7 summit, a Justice Department investigation that found a pattern of civil rights violations by the Phoenix Police Department, and an alarming discovery of weapons and ammunition made by NYPD officers during a routine traffic stop. Buttigieg on investment in union steelworkers

As Election Day draws closer, the Biden administration is touting progress made under the 2021 bipartisan infrastructure law. This week, the Department of Transportation released a video promoting the "Build America, Buy America Act" enacted under the law, which requires all federally funded infrastructure projects to be built with American-made materials. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg joins "America Decides" to discuss.

Biden, Zelenskyy sign security plan

President Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a bilateral security agreement Thursday in Italy, committing U.S. support to Ukraine for the next 10 years. Also on Thursday, the leaders of the G7 nations agreed to give Ukraine a $50 billion loan to address the ongoing war with Russia. CBS News' Willie J.
