How Trump, Biden cases could impact 2024 race

President Biden and former President Donald Trump, the frontrunners in the 2024 presidential race, both saw significant developments in two separate legal cases Thursday. A special counsel determined that Mr. Biden will not face charges in the classified documents probe, while the Supreme Court heard arguments over whether Trump should be ineligible to hold office because of his actions surrounding Jan. 6. No charges for Biden classified docs handling

A special counsel appointed by the Department of Justice issued a report Thursday on President Biden's handling of classified documents from his time as vice president, finding that no criminal charges were warranted. Robert Hur's report did contain significant criticism of Mr. Biden's handling of classified information, however.
