Trump shifts focus from Epstein case

Top Justice Department officials are set to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell as House Speaker Mike Johnson shuts down the chamber early to avoid a vote on releasing Jeffrey Epstein files. Despite the DOJ digging deeper, the president is still trying to shift focus. He is calling on former President Obama to face criminal prosecution and is unveiling a string of new trade agreements. Trump attacks Obama, deflects Epstein question

During his Oval Office meeting with Philippine President Bongbong Marcos, President Trump accused former President Barack Obama of treason for his handling of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He also sidestepped a question from CBS News' Ed O'Keefe about the Justice Department seeking a meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell about the Jeffrey Epstein case.
