Drone video appears to show 33 swimmers chasing and harassing a pod of dolphins off Hawaii's Big Island this past weekend. The swimmers are under investigation by Hawaiian authorities.
Harassing marine mammals is a violation of the federal Marine Mammal Act, and could result in up to $11,000 in fines and/or a year in prison.
Dozens of swimmers are under investigation for allegedly harassing a pod of wild dolphins near Hawaii's Big Island, authorities said.
"We didn't know anything about drinking water contamination or consider that the people that I worked for, dedicated my life and risked my life...would lie to us," Army Major Amanda Feindt told CBS News.
"They're 100 feet away from families who don't have access to clean drinking water," one local told CBS News. "And there you see the dichotomy of the haves and the have-nots."
