Evelyn Yang opens up about sexual assault

Evelyn Yang, the wife of Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang, revealed for the first time she was sexually assaulted by her gynecologist when she was pregnant with her first child in 2012. In an interview with CNN, Yang said she kept the assault a secret, and only told her husband many months after their son was born. She said she decided to go public now after being moved by stories from voters she met on the campaign trail.

VA gun rights rally brings fear of violence

The arrest of three alleged white supremacists is raising alarms ahead of a gun rights rally in Richmond, Virginia. Governor Ralph Northam says there is "credible intelligence" of potential violence at Monday's event. Northam’s temporary ban on firearms in the Capitol area also withstood a legal challenge on Thursday as fears of a Charlottesville repeat loom fresh on state leaders’ minds. Bombshell allegations threaten Trump’s circle

New allegations from former Trump donor Lev Parnas, who says he was the man the president and his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani entrusted with getting Ukraine to announce an investigation into the Bidens, implicate much of Trump’s inner circle. Mr. Trump denies even knowing Parnas, all while his impeachment trial begins with Chief Justice John Roberts and nearly all 100 senators being sworn in on Thursday. Nancy Cordes reports before the trial is set to begin next week.
