Injury Report: 49ers To Take On Seahawks Without Boldin And Hyde

The San Francisco 49ers got 168 yards from running back Carlos Hyde in Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings, but in the eight games since then, the 49ers have gotten just 302 yards from the oft-injured Hyde. It now looks like San Francisco won't have their No. 1 running back for this Sunday's road contest against the Seattle Seahawks, due to a continuing and lingering foot injury. That will put the pressure on quarterback Blaine Gabbert to take on the Legion of Boom without much support.

49ers Did The Right Thing In Releasing Aldon Smith This Year

The San Francisco 49ers may be just 3-6 this year, which is disappointing after the last four seasons of (mostly) success. With the news Tuesday that the NFL has suspended Smith for another year, it's clear the 49ers made the right choice.
