What's The Most Popular Movie Ever Set In California?
(CBS) - What do people think of when they picture your home state? They probably pull up the most famous chunk of pop culture ever churned out about your berg. For some places that's a song (Sweet Home Alabama) or a TV show (Hawaii 5-0), but for others it's a film.
With that in mind, one dedicated Reddit user charted each state's most popular film, as identified by IMDB.
Despite a seemingly endless list of films set in California, the one that stands out on IMDB is the 1994 Quentin Tarantino classic 'Pulp Fiction.'
The movie has an overall 8.9 out of 10 rating, but my inner 8-year-old is tempted to organize a campaign for 'Back to the Future.'
