Mosquite Bridge in El Dorado County to get upgrades

El Dorado County's Mosquito Bridge is undergoing some updgrades. The Sacramento Business Journal says the gold rush-era wooden bridge over the upper American River will be replaced and made of modern cast-in-place concrete. Administrators say the new bridge will be safer and increase speed and access for fire crews.
