A teenager has died after they were shot in the head in South Sacramento. According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened Saturday night near Vintage Park Drive and Breamore Drive. The 17-year-old victim was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head. He was later pronounced dead. Read more now.
Police say that two males were shot in Tracy Friday night. They were both taken to a local hospital where one of the victims died. A shooting suspect has been identified but is still at large.
Authorities have made an arrest in the shooting death and crash of an Amazon big rig driver along I-5 in Lathrop earlier this month.
