In addition to the cereal chow down, there were best and worst slipper competitions. Since the inception of Suits and Slippers 9 years ago the fundraiser has helped RFDC raise close to $400,000 for it's out of school programs for children in and around the Sacramento Region. Where else can adults get away with wearing their best, most worn, and most creative house slippers in public, then Suits and Slippers. This year's cereal eating competition was televised on Good Day Sacramento with the great Courtney Dempsey as the MC.
