Cody Johnson undergoes ear drum surgery, postpones upcoming Pittsburgh show at PPG Paints Arena
Country music singer Cody Johnson has canceled or postponed the remainder of his 2025 tour dates, including his show that was scheduled for PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh later this month.
Johnson shared the news about his tour dates on social media on Tuesday.
"It is with a very heavy heart I have to share the remainder of this year's concert performances will not be able to happen," Johnson said.
Johnson underwent surgery in Houston, Texas on Tuesday to repair a ruptured ear drum that he said came while battling a severe upper respiratory and sinus infection with a healing process expected to take many weeks.
Following his surgery, Johnson posted a video to his social media, saying thank you to people who checked in on him and wished him well.
"I really felt the love," Johnson said. "I'm gonna do my best to recharge and I can't wait to see you guys in 2026."
PPG Paints Arena's website was updated to reflect a rescheduled show in Pittsburgh that will now be taking place on March 6, 2026.
