According to authorities, Malika Brittingham sent a text to someone that a shooter was on the base. Court documents say Brittingham told investigators that she carried out the hoax, hoping to “trauma bond” with her coworkers.
Authorities say a mother and her four children all died in an overnight house fire in Franklin Township. The fire started at the home on Willow Street, right off Route 209 in Carbon County. Lehighton Area School District says they believe three of their students, a kindergartner, a first grader, and a ninth grader, died in a house fire.
