Trenton mayor authorizes emergency business curfew in response to safety concerns about violence

The mayor of Trenton authorized an emergency curfew in response to public safety concerns. It's for businesses on East State Street, between Carroll Street and South Broad Street, and it runs from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., starting Friday. The mayor says there has been ongoing violence in this area, so the city is taking action to protect the community. The curfew will be removed on August 17.
