Black Hawk Departs New Jersey To Assist In Hurricane Florence Rescue Effort

BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) - A Black Hawk helicopter departed Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Burlington County on Monday and is now assisting in North Carolina.

The National Guard's main focus will be to help rescue trapped residents and move supplies.

A pair of joint tactical air controllers from the Air National Guard will also join the team to provide assistance.
