Sources: Robbery On SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line Ends In Shooting, Suspect Found Dead On Train Tracks

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Eyewitness News has learned a shooting on a SEPTA train was the result of a robbery. This happened at Arrott Street and Frankford Avenue along the Market-Frankford Line.

Sources tell us a suspect tried to hold up a rider on a moving train. They say when the rider resisted, the suspect shot the victim twice.

The suspect then ran off between train cars and was later found dead near the tracks.

The victim in stable condition at the hospital.

This investigation disrupted service for some time, but SEPTA says trains are now back up and running again.
