New York City's correction officers union is speaking out after two of its members were brutally attacked this week. As CBS2's Lisa Rozner reports, it comes during the same week the Department of Correction announced another inmate died while in custody.
There's been another assault on a correction officer at Rikers.
The officer was attacked Monday inside the jail, and is now in stable condition at Elmhurst Hospital. CBS2's Zinna Maldonado has the latest.
The president of COBA said the officer was stabbed 15 times in the back of the head by an inmate.
