There's no high-profile quarterback destined to go No. 1. There's not even a running back or wide receiver worthy of the top overall pick. There's just beef. And lots of it.
When asked if he could replace Revis for New York, former LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu confidently told reporters, "I feel like I'm the guy to do it."

The most important Jet this season won't even take the field. The chances of success for New York this season are not great, but they rest with Marty Mornhinweg.
The Jets' biggest problem is still at the most important position on the field, so it's hard to get too high about anything they've done so far. But that also doesn't mean this draft will provide the answers.
"I definitely feel like I haven't gotten the truth," Revis said. "Anyone can sit there and tell you to your face, 'Yeah, you're going to be a Jet.' ... I know it's a lie."
"Not (head coach) Rex (Ryan), not (general manager John) Idzik, not (owner Woody) Johnson, nobody contacted me," Revis said. "They left me out of the loop, I guess you can say."
Without saying it, the Jets said it. They don't plan to contend for years. And it will take a lot more than Tampa Bay's first-round pick to fix it. And now, by the way, you also have a gaping hole at cornerback.
It'll all be on Cro -- again -- in 2013. And he's not exactly happy about it.
