Baseball's hot stove sure heated up during the overnight hours. As a result, the Dynamic Radio Duo that is Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton got their wildly popular radio program started Wednesday with a little local hardball talk.

First, the Cubs signed free agent Ben Zobrist and then they traded Starlin Castro to the Yankees. The Mets were left with their noses pushed up against the glass.

The Washington Nationals' PR department is no doubt on its toes after new manager Dusty Baker spoke candidly down at the winter meetings. In addition, former NFL quarterback Danny Kanell spoke out against "the war on football," prompting Craig to declare "it's time to attack the attackers."
