Facing South Florida: My Brother's Keeper

This week President Barack Obama, at a White House ceremony, launched what may be the most important initiative of his presidency, an effort to break that cycle of violence by finding new ways, new partnerships, to help boys and young men of color. The program is called "My Brother's Keeper". Attending that ceremony was State Senator Oscar Braynon, whose district in Miami Gardens is the largest African-American city in the state and a city that has been the center of so much of the violence.
