Police cruiser gets into accident responding to a call

A Detroit police officer is recovering this morning after a crash while responding to a call. Investigators say the officer slowed down at an intersection, with emergency lights on, when a driver on the I-96 service drive at Schafer failed to stop. The officer and the other driver were treated for their injuries.
