Detroit Police Department Employee Dies From Coronavirus, Others Under Quarantine

(CBS DETROIT) - The Detroit Police Department says a 38-year-old 911 call taker died yesterday from the coronavirus.

The department has not released the name of the employee, but they did say he was an 11-year veteran with the department.

Another nine employees have tested positive for coronavirus.

282 remain under quarantine.
