DENVER (CBS4) - A man who plead guilty to killing a 49-year-old taxi driver last year will spend 48 years in prison.

A judge sentenced Dasean Perry on Friday. Perry pleaded guilty to killing Darren Bloomquist in September 2015.

Bloomquist was driving a Metro Taxi and went to a location on East Mitchell Place in Green Valley Ranch. That's where he was shot and killed during an attempted robbery.
