Chicago police are searching for suspects after a triple shooting in the Morgan Park neighborhood on Monday morning.
Just before 2:30 a.m., Streamwood police, along with paramedics from the Streamwood Fire Department, responded to the 300 block of Cedar Circle for a report of gunshots that left one person shot.
The ages of the victims range from 2 to 58.
Officers immediately responded to the 300 block of North University and found two people who had been struck by gunfire and began rendering aid until the Normal Fire Department personnel arrived.
Both victims were taken to local hospitals, where one of the victims died. The other victim remains in critical condition.
All three victims were reported in good condition.
The men were on the sidewalk in the 700 block of North Lawndale Avenue when a vehicle pulled up and at least one person inside fired shots, police said.
A suspect connected to the incident was shot and killed by police after a chase that ended in Aurora.
Both were in good condition.
