Chicago police said the group struck at least eight times on CTA buses, trains, and platforms between March 2 and March 9:
After taking the victims' cellphones, the robbers have used the victims' banking apps to transfer money into their own personal accounts, police said.
Police said Wayne Frazier is suspected in several other similar robberies, and further charges were pending in cases in Arlington Heights, Berwyn, and Summit.
The robbery happened on Feb. 18 around 10 a.m. in the 1900 block of East 91st Street.
