The driver was fighting for his life Tuesday night after being rescued from his wrecked truck in Salt Creek below I-94 in Northwest Indiana. CBS 2's Marybel Gonzalez reports.
The truck had fallen off the bridge near Portage, Indiana, and the truck driver said he had been trapped for six days. Indiana State Police Sgt. Glenn Fifiield, and fishermen Mario Garcia and Nivardo Delatorre, break down what happened.
Indiana State police said they are looking into the possibility that the crash might have happened before Tuesday, and that the driver could have been in the vehicle for days.

The eastbound lanes were shut down as crews worked to reach multiple crashes with injuries. At least one car was left mangled.
It was not immediately learned how many people were injured, or if anyone died in the crash.
The pileup was caused by blinding snow, and left cars and trucks destroyed.
One person was taken to an area hospital with injuries in unknown condition.
