She survived not one but two Nazi concentration camps. She's sharing her timeless message of strength on this Holocaust Remembrance Day. CBS 2 Investigator Megan Hickey has her story.
The Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center is marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp with a solemn and powerful ceremony. CBS 2 photojournalist Tim Viste brings us the message that museum staff says we should never forget.
"We see these examples of what people are capable of, and what we, as people living in the world today, have the potential to do to create change," said the museum's Amanda Friedman.
