It's no surprise the Bulls beat Cavaliers Friday night, but for the first time since the 1997-98 season, Chicago has clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

It's no surprise the Bulls beat Cavaliers Friday night, but for the first time since the 1997-98 season, Chicago has clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Not only did the Bulls all but wrap up the top seed in the Eastern Conference by dominating the Celtics on Thursday night, they let Boston know that they aren't intimidated and won't be pushed around by the bullies of the East.

The Bulls pretty much wrapped up the Eastern Conference Thursday night with a convincing 97-81 victory over the Celtics.

Derrick Rose scored 30 points and the Chicago Bulls closed in on the top seed in the Eastern Conference by beating the Boston Celtics 97-81 on Thursday.

Derrick Rose is just a few games away from officially leading the Chicago Bulls to the best record in the Eastern Conference. And according to one NBA superstar, the MVP race can officially end and Rose can take his trophy.

Outside of teams fighting it out for the last playoff spot, games like the one tonight between the Chicago Bulls and the Boston Celtics at the United Center, are about as "must-winnish" as a regular season game can be.

Joakim Noah and the Chicago Bulls have a pretty good idea what to expect when the Boston Celtics visit the United Center on Thursday Night.

Being the likely NBA Most Valuable Player is one thing. Proving it every night is another, especially when you shouldn't have to.

The Chicago Bulls held on to beat the Phoenix Suns 97-94 on Monday night. However, it was an ugly and unsatisfying win for Derrick Rose and the Bulls.

The Chicago Bulls have five games remaining before the playoffs, so it's probably a good time for them to start getting their rotation in line for the postseason.

Derrick Rose has so many intangibles that make him great and one of them is never being satisfied with how he, or the team, plays. Tuesday night was yet another example as the Bulls defeated Phoenix 97-94.

Tuesday night's 19-point effort might not have been Derrick Rose's biggest of the season, but it was his 53rd consecutive game reaching double-digits.

The Chicago Bulls led by as many as 22 points in the second half before the Phoenix Suns made a furious run to cut the lead to two points, but would get no closer.

The Chicago Bulls could get a boost from the return of Joakim Noah to the lineup, despite winning all three games that the center missed.

Derrick Rose had 36 points and 10 assists, and the Chicago Bulls took another step toward the top seed in the Eastern Conference with their 15th win in 17 games, hanging on to beat the short-handed Toronto Raptors 113-106 on Saturday night.

The Chicago Bulls stayed ahead of the Detroit Pistons throughout Friday night's game, but the Pistons picked up the pace and pushed for a comeback late in the game. The Bulls held on to a five point lead to shut down the Pistons.

Earlier today, the Chicago Bulls' coach Tom Thibodeau was named Eastern Conference Coach of the Month. Just before the Bulls tipped off against the Pistons, Derrick Rose was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for the month of March.

Once upon a time Michael Jordan tormented the Detroit Pistons. Now it seems as if that responsibility has fallen into the hands of Derrick Rose, and he hasn't skipped a beat.

Not that he does, but if Derrick Rose needed anyone else to speak out and convince the voters to give him the MVP award, he got that in the form of Chicago Bulls' legend Scottie Pippen.

Derrick Rose had 23 points and 10 assists in three quarters and the Chicago Bulls blew out the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-91 on Wednesday night.

It seems like the race for the NBA's MVP has already been decided, and rightfully so. Derrick Rose has lead the Chicago Bulls to the top of the Eastern Conference and put up plenty of highlights along the way.

The Chicago Bulls are leading the way in the Eastern Conference. But with the regular season drawing to a close their intensity over the last two games has been admittedly lacking early on.

The Chicago Bulls are the top team in the Eastern Conference, and have a two-game lead over the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. But that status wasn't able to get them past the 38-36 Philadelphia 76ers.

Tom Thibodeau certainly wasn't enthralled losing a game on Monday night but he sure used it to his advantage at practice Tuesday.

Despite 31 points from Derrick Rose, the Chicago Bulls lost to the Philadelphia 76ers 97-85, it was only their fifth loss at the United Center all season.
