Chicago police are investigating a burglary at a church in Lincoln Park.
Two men are charged after breaking into a home in Lisle Monday afternoon, according to Chief of Police Kevin Licko.
The burglaries took place in stores in the 3600 and 3900 blocks of West Cermak Road at 12:39 a.m. and 1 a.m. Monday, respectively.
Several franchise stores were hit Sunday morning -- all in less than an hour.
Four times since Dec. 2, thieves have broken into vacant homes through a door or window, and stolen kitchen appliances and copper piping.
The burglaries happened during the months of November and December in the Albany and Jefferson Park neighborhoods.
Police say in each incident the suspect(s) entered an apartment through a window and then took property from inside.
