The Senate-passed bill died on the last night of the legislative session.
"This is the first step in a long and wonderful journey. Sapir, we are proud to do it with you," the Israel Football Association tweeted.
"There is such an attack on trans health care right now," Page said. "And if you are going to do this and if you are also not going to allow trans kids to play sports, children will die."
